With a back catalogue spanning 20 years, London-based Archive have never waited around in the one place long enough to go stale. With musical styles spanning across a plethora of genres from post-rock to electronic, no matter how diverse each song sounds they always seem to follow a very distinctive recipe that makes Archive, Archive.

The title track from their latest record ‘The False Foundation’ is no exception to the rule. Building from a simple arpeggiated synth, the track’s subtly complex textures constantly evolve into climax before being unexpectedly stripped to nothing, reincarnating themselves as an even more colossal version of themselves over and over again.
