Introducing DEN… If you can imagine being hurled at 100 kilometers per hour through a dense forest with leaves of never ending glass, then that’s pretty much the vibe here. Brutal and painful with a wall of noise that makes you want to cover your face to stop the onslaught.

Sydney based post-punk outfit DEN haven’t even released their first EP, yet they are already making big waves, but don’t sweat it if you haven’t heard of them yet. By very definition, a den is “a place where people go to meet in secret”, and for the better part of the last two years that’s exactly where these guys have been while working on their debut release. But… like all well kept secrets, at some point they’re all bound to be broken and luckily for us that means we finally get to hear the first taste from their musical den.

With their debut self-titled EP due to drop on November 11th, DEN have offered up two absolute pearlers to get us pumped, ‘Poltergeist’ and ‘Current Riser’. With a ghostly command over the synth, guitar licks that will make you wonder which way is up and some major I don’t give a F**** vocals I’ll tell you what! If you were to judge what’s about to go down when the album drops from these two tracks alone? Then DEN are about to unleash a debut EP that is about as close as it gets to the epicenter of chaos.

DEN S/T EP is  out November 11th via Rice is Nice. KEEEEEEN!!
